We have set today, July 15, as our reopen date.
Because we are doing a phased reopening based on need, we have used the inputs from the June and July surveys to invite the first 32 children back to ACCC. Families invited back for the opening day have been notified.
As Federal, State, County, and Licensing policies allow, we will be expanding the enrollment in multiple steps/phases. Before expansion at each step/phase, we will be holding a deep internal review of best practices and lessons learned to date.
As of now, our process for reopening is based on many things including Federal, State, County, and Licensing guidelines, but is also based on the reopening plans from other NASA child care centers and child care centers in the local area.
If all goes well and guidelines don’t change, we expect the second phase of reopening around August 10th.
