ACCC celebrates the Week of the Young Child. The theme for the Week of the Young Child (WOYC) is “Celebrate Our Youngest Learners”.
We also have incorporated an ACCC “Spirit Week” in which we encourage staff and children to dress up in something different each day!! Please see Celeste’s email for more details.

ACCC helps to promote early literacy with the Scholastic book fair (ACCC conference room)
Special event: Wednesday, April 20 – book reading 3:30pm by local Ames/SETI /Mars Institute author: Dr. Pascal Lee, author of Mission: Mars (Winner of Children’s Science Book Prize) followed by book signing. Pre-order your copy today! Please see Celeste or Ida.
Also, in collaboration with Reading Partners, a non-profit organization, ACCC will host a donation book drive. We are asking for book donations (mostly picture books and easy chapter books, new and used) to help improve literacy for struggling young readers throughout Silicon Valley. Book donations bins will be placed in the ACCC lobby.
