Special Event with Dr. Pascal Lee during ACCC Spring Scholastic Book Fair, April 13-17

What:  ACCC Spring Scholastic Book Fair during the Week of the Young Child

When:  Monday, April 13 through Friday, April 17

Where:  ACCC conference room & lobby

Why:  If we meet our goal of at least $2,500, then the ACCC will receive 40% of the proceeds AND free books for our children’s classrooms!

Special event on Wed, 4/15:  Book signing (and book reading with Apollo & Vanguard rooms) on April 15th (3:30pm5:15pm) by local Ames/SETI /Mars Institute author: Dr. Pascal Lee, author of Mission: Mars (Winner of Children’s Science Book Prize).

Dr. Pascal Lee is the chairman of the Mars Institute and a planetary scientist at the SETI Institute. He is also director of the NASA Haughton-Mars Project at NASA Ames Research Center.

Copies of Mission: Mars will be available for sale at the ACCC Spring Scholastic Book Fair. To reserve one or more copies of the book, please sign up on the pre-order forms that will be posted in your child’s classroom. A portion of the book sales will benefit the ACCC, a non-profit charitable organization.
